Bryn Mawr College Selects 2012 Commencement Speaker
Seniors graduate May 12 at 2 p.m. on Merion Green.
has announced Mary Robinson, the first woman to serve as the President of Ireland, as its 2012 commencement speaker.
Robinson also served as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, according to the college's website, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in July 2009.
Robinson now serves as president of the Mary Robinson Foundation-Climate Justice (MRFCJ).
