Crews Start Work on Bryn Mawr Crosswalk

They were installing wiring Thursday morning.

The lighted crosswalk adjacent to on Lancaster Avenue is currently closed for repairs.

The lights along the crosswalk , according to an April 2 press release from Lower Merion Township. In-ground lighting will be removed and replaced with more visible flashing lights similar to a mid-block crossing in Ardmore.

Repairs, which require delivery of construction materials and construction, could take until May. Crews are still waiting for parts, they said Thursday morning.

Pedestrians are advised to use the crosswalk at Bryn Mawr Avenue until the mid-block crosswalk is repaired.
