Police Blotter: Second-Floor Bryn Mawr Apartment Burglarized; Public Drunkenness

On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne:

Public drunkenness: Police responded to the unit block of S. Roberts Road in Bryn Mawr on a report of vandalism in progress at 11:50 p.m. April 3, police said. Michael Lydon, 22, a Villanova student, was charged with public drunkenness, police said.

Public drunkenness: At 1:56 p.m. April 7, Bryan McCue, 21, of the 300 block of Wyldhaven Road in Bryn Mawr, was charged with public drunkenness at the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and N. Merion Road, police said.

Burglary: A second-floor apartment in an apartment building on the 1000 block of Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr was entered through an unlocked window sometime between 2:30 and 9 p.m. April 7, police said. About $300 in cash was stolen, police said.
