Police Blotter: Drunken Man Creates Disturbance in ER

Public intoxication: Police said Timothy Mahler, 46, of the 600 block of Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, was causing a disturbance in the emergency room of Bryn Mawr Hospital and was intoxicated to a degree he was a danger to himself and to others. Police said an officer was in the emergency room following up with another incident at 10:46 p.m. Feb. 9 when Mahler began screaming obscenities in the emergency room. Police said Mahler’s blood-alcohol content was .21, and Mahler was issued citations for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
