Harriton Road Fire Extinguished Quickly Monday Night

The homeowner was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a check-up, officials said.

A house fire on the 700 block of Harriton Road in Bryn Mawr on Monday night was quickly put under control, said Lower Merion Deputy Fire Marshal Jim McCoy.

The fire was sparked by a heater in the master bedroom at about 9:35 p.m., and damage was contained to a dresser and a subwoofer, McCoy said.

The homeowner was transported by Narberth Ambulance to for a check-up, he said.
