DUI Checkpoints, Patrols Scheduled This Weekend in Lower Merion

Combined with roving patrols, the checkpoints are funded by PennDOT.

Impaired-driving checkpoints and roving patrols have been planned throughout Lower Merion from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29, according to a township release.

The initiative is in conjunction with a national crackdown on impaired driving, which tells motorists: "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

The sobriety checkpoint will be funded by a PennDOT grant, according to the release.
