Moms Eat Local: Peace A Pizza

Find out how kid-friendly Peace A Pizza is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Peace A Pizza is a good place to eat with your children.

Restaurant:

Is there a kids’ menu? There is a Kid's Meal ($5.29) with pizza, cookies and soda. "Kids can assemble their own crust, sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Give it to your server and we'll bake it to perfection in under 2 minutes."

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? They offer whole wheat crust pizzas and numerous salads on the standard menu.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Ask the staff what is in certain items and decide accordingly. If there is a severe nut allergy I would opt not to eat here as there are nuts in numerous salads and Hope's Cookies and Ice Cream next door also has many items with nuts.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? Children are more than welcome. There is even a special section for kids in the dining room.
