On the article Philadelphia Eagles Don't Deserve This Victory

ReplyThis looked like the same old pathetic Philadelphia Eagles team under Andy Reid. Way too many mistakes by the offense.. Defense, however, did OK. I really think Andy should consider taking Vick out and using either of his backups. Perhaps the score would have been much higher and there would have been much fewer incompletes or turnovers. Eagles will have to play a whole lot better next Sunday, and from hereon in if they are to be this year's Super Bowl contenders.

On the article Andy Reid in No-Win Situation This Year

ReplyIn one sense, I feel bad for Andy Reid in losing his eldest son. But on the other hand, I feel Jeff Lurie is right on target. He's been more than patient. This is business. This is the NFL. Enough is enough, already. 13 years is a long time without a Super Bowl championship. It's time to give the Philadelphia Eagles the title "2012 Super Bowl Champions!!!!!"

ReplyIt doesn't surprise me one bit. I play at both Parx and Sands. I noticed Parx slots have become much tighter lately, which explains the increased revenues.

On the article Should the Philadelphia Phillies Hold a Fire Sale?

ReplyThe Phillies are an awful team right now. They need serious changes made, and in a hurry. Their hitting sucks, along with their pitching. Especially last night with the Braves. They need to get rid of Bastardo. The way he pitched last night was unacceptable. He's also ineffective in other games as well. I like the Phillies. But they are truly painful to watch right now. Hopefully after the All Star break, they can turn it around.

On the article Parx Fined for Allowing Underage Man to Gamble, Drink

ReplyIt appears that Parx has a security breach on their hands. It appears the guys in red suits are sleeping on the job, as well as the players club desk people. Otherwise, this 20 year old would've been denied access to the casino floor and not been granted a players card. As far as Mt Airy goes, they should've known about the ties with Mr. DeNaples and looked into these companies alot further before doing business with them. Perhaps now both casinos have learned their lesson.

On the article Supreme Court Denies Parx Appeal; OKs Valley Forge Casino

ReplyLOL.....I cannot believe the audacity and stupidity that Parx management has to try to block this. They are trying to monopolize....If they are going to block Valley Forge Casino, then they may as well go ahead and protest SugarHouse, which is even closer, or better yet, Sands in Bethlehem, which is their closest competition in total revenues.

Regardless of the injuries, a coach is supposed to find ways to win games. Not make lain-brained decisions that would end up jeopardizing the season and the team's reputation. It's definitely time for a change. Hopefully Mr. Lurie will do the right thing for both his team, and for the fans and fire Andy Reid, the assistant coaches, and draft decent players. Not player wannabees, like we have now...
