Stamp Prices to Go Up This Month
The U.S. Postal Service is raising stamp prices.
Now is a good time to stock up on forever stamps, because the cost of mailing a letter will increase 1 cent more starting January 27. Right now, a stamp to mail a first-class letter of up to 1 oz. costs 45 cents if it goes through the U.S. Post Office. If you’re using a 45 cent stamp to mail packages, you will need to add an additional 1 cent stamp after January 27, but forever stamps will be good regardless of postage increases now or in the future.
