Today, we're spotlighting the former home of The BRGR Joint, which recently closed at 1011 W. Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr. The restaurant opened in the fall of 2009, according to its website. Property records show the building was erected in 1920. Signs in the front window indicate that anyone who wants to lease the "fully equipped restaurant" space should call 484-904-2785. I'm getting so frustrated that these great places can't stay open in Bryn Mawr. Loved BRGR and I almost wrecked my car when I saw the lease sign yesterday. "Fully equipped restaurant" is a bit of a stretch though. They basically just had a grill back there, so I don't know what type restaurant would be able to take advantage of it other than... another burger place? I'm always wishing Bryn Mawr …   more ›
