Morris Avenue Closed Again for Water-Main Repair
Emergency vehicles will not be able to get through.
Morris Avenue closed on Friday for the second time this week, between New Gulph Road and Old Gulph Road, because a second water main has ruptured, the township announced. Lower Merion authorities had announced Wednesday afternoon the closure of Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr, between New Gulph Road and Old Gulph Road, Wednesday afternoon and evening. Crews were working in that case also to repair a broken water main. The closures come after part of Williamson Road shut down Wednesday morning for emergency tree removal.
