Philadelphia Country Club is a private golf club located on Spring Mill Road. The club was founded in 1890 and hosted the U.S. Open in 1939. The club offers 27 holes of Championship Golf. Besides golf, the club also offers bowling, bridge, a fitness center, paddle, tennis, shooting, squash and swimming. There is a dress code to ensure members and their guests wear proper attire, including casual attire in some areas and country club casual attire in other areas. Smoking is not allowed in the club's indoor facilities and cell phone use is limited to telephone rooms.
