Mama Mac Visiting and More Ahead This Week

Happy Monday, Lower Merion. Here's a quick look at the week ahead.

  • On Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, located at 1001 Remington Road in Wynnewood, is hosting Mama Mac and Friends for a family-friendly concert. For more information, see the Patch event listing here. 
  • The Corner Bakery Cafe in Ardmore will be participating in the 11th Annual Softball Benefit supporting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Ardmore Park, 1498 Sussex Road in Wynnewood. Join the Corner Bakery Cafe team for a family fun filled day with free games for kids, raffles, refreshments, music, clowns, face painting and more.
  • On Monday at 7 p.m., learn how to relax. Dr. Donald McCown will be presenting a stress reduction program at Ludington Library designed to teach breathing techniques, meditation and more. You will be shown tactics that are easy to incorporate in everyday life. Registration suggested. Visit the Service Desk at Ludington Library, or call 610-525-1776.
  • On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Bryn Mawr Film Institute's Summer Classics Seminar continues with a screening of The Bridge on the River Kwai, a 1957 Academy Award nominee about a WWII era Burmese POW camp. For more info, check out BMFI's event listing here
