  • Butterfly lovers, unite. On Tuesday, The Lower Merion Conservancy is hosting its annual Butterfly Count. Starting at 9 a.m., nature lovers can meet up at the Conservancy Cottage, located at 1301 Rose Glen Road in Gladwyne, from which point the group will move on to Rolling Hill Park to conduct a census of sorts on the painted ladies, swallowtails, and hairstreaks in the area. For more info, check out the conservancy's website here.
  • On Thursday, Chili's in Bala Cynwyd is participating in Give Back Night to benefit the National Kidney Foundation. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of all the  day's revenues to kidney disease research and awareness.
