The boys' and girls' track teams from Harriton High School competed in the PIAA Central League's Track and Field Meet.

Athletes from Harriton High School were among students from 12 schools competing in the PIAA Central League Track and Field Meet, which was played Wednesday at Lower Merion's field. The event is the first step toward reaching the PIAA State Finals. The athletes with the best times and scores will go onto the District Finals later in May. District finalists then go onto the state finals.  The Central League Meet began promptly at 2:30 p.m. and went on until 7 p.m.  During that time, heats were held for each event. The athletes with the best times and scores participated in finals to determine which ones would go on to the district meet.  At the end of the event, medals and trophies were presented to the top scorers. We covered some of the events to bring you a look at the meet.
