Harriton’s Half To Remember

Quarterback Pat Moriarty had a first half for the ages on Saturday.

Most quarterbacks would be pleased throwing for 317 yards and four touchdowns in a game. Pat Moriarty did it in one memorable half, leading Harriton to a over Upper Darby Saturday night. Moriarty finished throwing for a career-best 380 yards. For the second time in five years, the Rams have three victories this early in the season.

The last time the Rams won three games in September was in 2006, when they got off to a 3-0 start.

"The first series, we started slow and then we had all these long plays," Moriarty said. "I felt in this good rhythm. I felt I could complete every pass. Our guys were making plays. We thought we could do a lot of stuff against them."
