Quad X Open 5K. The 5K race will take place on the

challenging fi elds and trails of the Belmont Plateau
in Fairmount Park. Our goal is to grow this race
to become the largest cross country race in the
Philadelphia area and to promote cross country beyond
high school competition. This event will coincide with
our Quad X High School invitational.
There will be prize money for post collegiate athletes
who place as an individual and in the new team
division. The course will consist of one outer loop
around the baseball fi elds then into the woods for the
remaining portion of the course. Course maps will be
provided day of race.
Cash awards will be provided by the Bryn Mawr Racing
Company and Nike by the following breakdown:
• 1st Place Male/Female
$ 150
• 2nd Place Male/Female
$ 100
• 3rd Place Male/Female
$ 50
• 1st Masters Male/Female
$ 100
• 1st Male and Female Team
$ 200
(Must have 5-7 members of the same
sex to qualify for team awards)
This race will benefi t the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
