Join us for a unique and captivating look at the life and culture of the Revolutionary War soldier. This special series of presentations is aimed at historians, students, historic site staff, teachers, volunteers, reenactors and all others with an interest in America’s past. The program brings together some of the nation’s leading Revolutionary War authorities in a discussion of the conflict including artifacts, campaigns, army life and the experiences of those involved in America’s struggle for freedom.A reception on Friday evening opens the event. Three concurrent sessions are offered on Saturday followed by the Bruce A. Baky Memorial Lecturepresented by noted historian, Dr. Gary B.Nash. An informal reception follows the lecture at the hotel. On Sunday, the 2nd Pennsylvania Regiment and park staff will be reenacting soldier life at Valley Forge National Historical Park.
