18th Annual Summer Bird Count

Free!
Audience: Adults, children ages 8 & up
Co-sponsored by Riverbend Environmental Education Center Counting the birds that live and breed in Lower Merion—an ongoing attempt to assess the health of our landscape—is a long-running Conservancy tradition. Since migration is over, we again search for our resident nesting birds, especially key birds like woodland warblers and pileated woodpeckers. After the search, we’ll discuss our findings over donuts and drinks.

All levels of birders are welcome; binoculars and field guides are recommended. Meet at Riverbend’s barn at the end of Spring Mill Road.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
