Poet to Give Free Reading at Bryn Mawr College

The reading will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Goodhart Hall.

Poet, dramatist and essayist Tom Sleigh will give a free reading of his work at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, in the Goodhart Music Room, Goodhart Hall, .

The reading is part of Bryn Mawr's Creative Writing Program Reading Series. All readings in the series are free and open to the public.

Sleigh is the author of a book of nonfiction, Interview with a Ghost, and seven books of verse, including, most recently, Army Cats. Seamus Heaney says his poetry “refuses to cut emotional corners and yet achieves a sense of lyric absolution.”
