Lafayette College Provost Will Head Agnes Irwin

Dr. Wendy Hill had been provost at the college since 2007.

Lafayette College Provost Wendy Hill is stepping down to take a new job, head of school at the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, PA.

Hill will succeed Dr. Mary F. Seppala, according to a news release from Agnes Irwin, a Main Line all-girls college prep school.

“We are delighted that our intense and far-reaching search for the next Head of School has culminated in the appointment of Dr. Wendy Hill, a distinguished scientist, mentor, teacher and proven academic leader,” Ann Laupheimer Sonnenfeld ’77, Chair of the Board of Trustees said in the release. 

Hill has been with Lafayette since 1989, becoming provost in 2007, the same year she helped implement the school's strategic plan. She is expected to take office at Agnes Irwin on July 1 of next year.
