Baldwin Teacher Honored as Acme's 'Teacher of the Month'

Acme Markets began its recognition program to honor the contributions of teachers in its communities.

Rebecca Lewis, a Lower School science teacher at The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, was recently presented with Acme’s “Teacher of the Month” award for January. Acme Markets began its recognition program to honor the contributions of teachers in its communities.

Acme’s initiative aims to deepen the connection between Acme and the local community.

“Acme believes that by helping to create stronger communities, we enhance the quality of life for customers and associates,” said Dan Sanders, Acme president. “We also know being a good neighbor also means providing for our customers beyond our store's walls. The ‘Teacher of the Month’ program aims to connect Acme with the local schools and teachers by celebrating their selfless service to students and the community.”

Ms. Lewis was honored with an Acme gift card, exclusive Teacher of the Month shopping bags, and a certificate signed by the store director.
