Neck Strengthening, not just for athletes.

Neck injuries and issues can happen to anyone, not just athletes. Make sure you are taking care of your neck through strength training.

For 36 years, Main Line Health and Fitness has been "pushing" trainees to strengthen their necks on a weekly basis. Especially women! In the past, our recommendation has been met with resistance for various reasons, none of which in this opinion, has any merit whatsoever.
With the national discussion centered on concussions of athletes (and non-athletes) on EVERY level, we must ALL come to the realization that cervical spine problems, in most every case, originate from a weakness of the neck musculature.
Make isolated, direct neck strengthening an integral exercise in your workout, once a week, EVERY WEEK!
