UPDATE: Wayne Estate to be Auctioned Thursday

The 12,800-square-foot home is called Honeystone.

A Wayne estate home will be auctioned off on Thursday.

The 12,800-square-foot home called Honeystone is being offered with no reserve, said Concierge Auctions, the company handling the auction.

The estate is at 500 Huston Road in Wayne. Concierge says the 25-room home also boasts six bedrooms, seven full and four half bathrooms, and a pool.

Ed Snider, the CEO of Comcast Spectacor, is also the former owner of the Sixers. Snider lived in a home on the property in the 1980s, The Philadelphia Inquirer said. That home was destroyed in a fire; the current estate home is the one being auctioned.

The listing of the home was handled by Susan Ravenscroft and David Harrington of Sotheby's International Realty.

You can register to bid on the home here. The live auction of the home will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, the Inquirer said.

Editor's note: An earlier version of this story cited a Philadelphia Inquirer article stating that Ed Snider had lived in the home being auctioned Thursday. The Inquirer has since issued a correction to that story, noting that Snider once lived on the property, but not in the current home. See the Inquirer's correction here.
