What's Closed on Election Day?

Some polling places are in public schools.

With several Lower Merion School District buildings among the dozens of Lower Merion and Narberth polling places for Tuesday's general election, the district will not be holding classes that day, except for at Harriton High School

Staff will be working in the buildings, but most students will not attend Tuesday, another day off after several canceled school sessions last week for Hurricane Sandy.

Harriton High School, one of the schools where voting will take place, regained electricity over the weekend. It will be open on Tuesday.

Both Lower Merion and Narberth government offices will be open as normal. Belmont Hills Library, another polling place, will be open, too. Other public buildings that will host polling places include several fire houses and the St. Joseph's University sports complex.

You can find your voting precinct by last name and date of birth, or by address and zip code.
