President Obama Will Be in Philadelphia Thursday

The Democratic event aims to raise $1 million.

President Barack Obama will be in Philadelphia Thursday night for a Democratic fundraising event.

The event will be held at the Mount Airy home of Comcast executive David L. Cohen.

The event, which will benefit the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, aims to raise $1 million, The Huffington Post says.

In addition to Obama, the event will feature Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.), and Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.). Bennet is the head of the DSCC.

Cohen was chief of staff to Ed Rendell when Rendell was mayor of Philadelphia, and The Huffington Post says Cohen and his wife raised more than $500,000 for Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.
