Meet Rep. Chaka Fattah on Thursday

The Congressman will make three appearances in Ardmore, one in Wynnewood and one in Penn Valley on Thursday.

Rep. Chaka Fattah, who became Lower Merion's congressional representative in January, will make five appearances in Lower Merion on Thursday, including three in Ardmore and one at a Thursday evening civic meeting.

According to a press release from the Congressman's office:

  • Fattah will meet with senior government students at Lower Merion High School from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
  • At 2:30 p.m., Fattah will tour the PALM Senior Center in Ardmore. The PALM Tappers will perform, after which Fattah will make a presentation and answer questions from seniors. The event is free and all PALM and community members are invited to attend.
  • At 4:45 p.m., Fattah will visit the Ardmore Avenue Community Center.
  • At 6 p.m., Fattah will attend a fundraiser for Foxes Help Organization at Friends Central School.  The event is the inaugural fundraiser for the non-profit, which was formed to provide assistance and counseling for victims and family members of victims of gun violence, according to the release.

A Meet and Greet with Fattah will take place Thursday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Welsh Valley Middle School's auditorium, hosted by Penn Valley Civic Association. It is open to all in Lower Merion and Narberth and residents are encouraged to bring their questions for the congressman. The event is free.
