Lower Merion Commissioners are set to discuss proposed renovations at Gladwyne and Ardmore libraries, after .
The proposed renovations at would cost the township roughly $1.5 million, the most expensive component of which would be the installation of an exterior elevator.
The township has released a memo answering several questions from residents about the proposed renovations, including:
"If the township is proposing to put $1.5M into a building that it does not own, what conditions, if any, does the township intend to place on this donation by the township?
Response: The Township would be likely to protect its investment by a legal agreement the specifics of which have not yet been decided."
