Gladwyne Library Renovations Project Seeks Input

Proposed renovations include adding an exterior elevator at the main entrance.

Lower Merion Township is seeking community input on the renovation project, which along with the Ardmore Library project will not begin until construction is complete on and Bala Cynwyd libraries.

The Gladwyne and Ardmore projects will both involve the installation of elevators, according to Lower Merion Township.

The Lower Merion Board of Commissioners last Wednesday so the board could be provided with feedback in July.

The Historical Architectural Review Board has asked the architect, Vitetta, to make some adjustments to the design.

The community meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. June 26, immediately prior to the 's monthly meeting, at . Vitetta architect Jim Keller will be there to receive input on the project.
