Energy Summit Hosted by State Reps Set for May 5

State representatives Briggs, Gerber and DeLissio have invited representatives from PECO and the PUC to help residents make sense of recent changes to energy companies and energy costs.

Democratic state representatives Tim Briggs, Mike Gerber and Pamela DeLissio, who represent parts of Lower Merion Township, Narberth, and neighboring sections of Philadelphia, have planned an “energy summit” for May 5 at Lower Merion High School.

The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Large Group Instruction Room at the high school (315 E. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore).

The May 5 discussion will center on “recent changes to energy companies in Pennsylvania and how those changes can help reduce home energy costs,” according to a statement. Representatives from the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and PECO will be on hand.
