DUI Checkpoints, Patrols Scheduled for Sept. 23 in Lower Merion

Locations were not announced.

Lower Merion police are planning roving and stationary DUI patrols Friday night Sept. 23, township officials announced Tuesday.

The department just got done running  from mid-August through Labor Day. State grants are funding the extra police presence, as is often the case with extra DUI enforcement.

Anyone with questions about next Friday's anti-DUI efforts can call 610-649-1000, the Lower Merion Police Department's non-emergency line.
