Would-Be Burglar Pries Window on Limberlost Lane, Police Said
Cops made two public-intoxication arrests in Bryn Mawr and Rosemont last week, too.
The following police incidents happened in the Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne area in the past week, Lower Merion police told news media Monday afternoon:
Attempted burglary: A resident of the 1200 block of Limberlost Lane in Gladwyne reported to police that the exterior of a dining room window had been damaged by someone attempting to pry open the window between Jan. 23 and Jan. 30.
Public intoxication: A 21-year-old Rosemont College student tried to enter a private home he mistakenly thought was his college room about 3 a.m. Jan. 29, police said. A resident of the 1200 block of Wendover Road in Rosemont called police to report a man knocked at her door asking to come in before walking away. Police stopped the man soon afterward and charged him with public intoxication; the man's blood alcohol content tested at 0.18.

Public intoxication: A 22-year-old Philadelphia man was cited on the first block of North Roberts Road about 12:45 a.m. Feb. 1.
Marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, expired registration: A 51-year-old New Hope man was charged about 7:35 a.m. Feb. 1 at Lancaster and Merion avenues after being pulled over for running a red light, police said.
