Villanova Police Calls: A Car Crash, a Fire and Suspicious Activity

20 neighborhood incidents were recorded in the week ending Jan. 13.

Lower Merion police responded to 20 incidents in the Villanova neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 13, according to LMPD statistics.

Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

Incidents included:

  • 14 alarm activations: one Jan. 8, two Jan. 9, three Jan. 10, two Jan. 11 and six Jan. 13, the latter including alarms from Morris Avenue, Rene Road, Willowbrook Lane, County Line Road, Eagle Farm Road and Valley Road
  • 1 fire, about 1 p.m. Jan. 9 on the 1300 block of Valley Road
  • 1 traffic offense
  • 1 car crash with property damage, about 2:40 p.m. Jan. 11 at County Line and Spring Mill roads
  • 1 request for Narberth Ambulance
  • 2 reports of suspicious people, circumstances or vehicles
