Township Click It or Ticket Enforcement Underway

In 2013, 425 people who were not wearing seatbelts were killed in car crashes in Pennsylvania, according to PennDOT statistics.

A "Click It or Ticket" seatbelt enforcement campaign is under way in Lower Merion Township.

Anyone sitting in the front seat of a vehicle, and any passenger under the age of 18 must wear a seatbelt at all times under Pennsylvania law.

Lower Merion's enforcement campaign will run through June 8 -- though of course you should be wearing your seatbelt, campaign or not.
