Rosemont Police Calls: Fire, Fraud and a Fox

45 neighborhood incidents were recorded in the week ending Jan. 27.

Lower Merion police responded to 45 incidents in the Rosemont neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 27, according to LMPD statistics.

  • 4 alarm activations
  • 1 encounter with a fox, about 10:25 a.m. at Ringwood Road and Montgomery Avenue
  • 1 domestic dispute
  • 2 faulty fire alarms
  • 1 fire, about 2:55 p.m. Jan. 26 on the 300 block of Baintree Road
  • 1 credit card/ATM fraud, about 10:40 p.m. Jan. 26 on the 1400 block of West Montgomery Avenue
  • 7 traffic offenses
  • 3 car crashes with property damage
  • 2 calls for suspicious circumstances
