Hit-and-Run Injures Bryn Mawr Mother and Children; Police Seek Black Truck
The accident happened at Lancaster and Bryn Mawr avenues in Bryn Mawr.
A 46-year-old Bryn Mawr woman and her 5-year-old twins received minor injuries after being hit by a truck as they crossed at the intersection of Lancaster and Bryn Mawr avenues around 1:45 on Thursday.
The three were taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance for treatment, Tom Walsh, spokesperson for Lower Merion Township told Patch.
Lower Merion police are still looking for a full-sized black pick-up truck, similar to a Ford F-150, that struck the pedestrians as it was turning left from Bryn Mawr Avenue onto Lancaster Avenue. After the incident the truck continued to travel west on Lancaster Avenue, Walsh said.

Police are asking for witnesses to contact them at (610) 649-1000 or (610) 645-6260.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the scene. It is not known where the traffic light was in its rotation, Walsh said.

A section of Lancaster Avenue near Bryn Mawr Avenue was closed for the investigation. The street reopened about 2:40 p.m.
