The $3 million piece of art was stolen from a Bryn Mawr home in late August.

A $3 million bust of Benjamin Franklin stolen from a Bryn Mawr home in August has been recovered in Elkton, MD, where a woman got off a bus with it Friday afternoon, the Cecil Whig reported.

The woman, Andrea Lawton, 46, of Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with the Aug. 24 theft, according to the report. She had been working as a maid for the owners of the bust.

Police had issued a warrant for Lawton's arrest soon after the theft, but they did not find her at home when attempting to serve the warrants.
