Police Search for Bank Robbery Suspect Seen in Gladwyne

The man made off with $1,000 in cash from a Conshohocken bank.

Whitemarsh Township police believe a man robbed a Conshohocken bank Monday afternoon after being seen at a Gladwyne bank about an hour earlier.

Police said that at 3:38 p.m., a 6-foot-2-inch white man with a medium build gave a written demand for cash to a teller at the Firstrust at 15 Ridge Pike in Conshohocken. He implied he had a weapon but did not display it, police said.

After the man was given about $1,000 cash, police said, he ran out of the bank and fled east.

Police said they believe the same man was at the  in Gladwyne an hour earlier, but it was not immediately clear what he did there.
