Police Report Roxborough Stick-Up

Man robbed in his car earlier in December.

Two men held up a Roxborough resident at gunpoint in midnight, police said.

At midnight Dec. 13 a man was in his car at Mitchell Street and Shurs Lane. He reached into the back of the 2003 Toyota Matrix when two men approached him.

One man pointed a snub nose revolver and demanded his money, which was $72.

He gave them the money and they fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

Philadelphia Police did not release detailed descriptions of the assailants.

Right Debbie cause descriptions, of any kind, aren't helpful at all and can hurt peoples feelings..... ~tongue to cheek But really, the Patch wouldn't publish it anyway. Or should I say THIS patch site wouldn't publish it as they (Rox patch) always state it's patches policy that "if the police description is not enough to .... blah blah blah". However, read any other Patch site, Bala/Ardmore, Norristown, they have no problem breaking the supposed policy of the Patches.
