Police Blotter: Villanova Students Charged With Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication

On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne:

Public intoxication, underage drinking: Bryn Mawr College students reported to police about 1:45 a.m. Sunday that a woman was lying unconscious in the street on the 100 block of Morris Avenue, police said. Villanova student Jordyn Blair, 20, was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for treatment and was subsequently cited for public intoxication and underage drinking, police said.

Disorderly conduct: Alexandre Bieri, 21, of West Milford, NJ, was cited after police said he threw a beer bottle toward a house on the first block of Thomas Avenue about 10:55 p.m. Friday, having just seen a police car patrolling. Bieri told officers he could not find a trash can, police said.

Theft of bicycle: An 18-speed hybrid Schwinn was stolen from a porch on the 700 block of West Railroad Avenue in Bryn Mawr overnight Saturday to Sunday, police said. The owner could not remember whether the bike, worth about $300, had been locked.
