Police Blotter: Late-Night DUI on Lancaster Avenue

Lower Merion police reported the past week's incidents on Monday afternoon.

The following incidents in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne were reported in the week ending Nov. 4, according to Lower Merion police:

  • Public intoxication: A 22-year-old man from Pasadena, CA, was cited at 12:55 a.m. Oct. 29 on Lancaster Avenue at Bryn Mawr Avenue. The man told police he had been walking around for 30 minutes and didn't know where he was. His blood alcohol content registered 0.27, police said.
  • DUI: A 25-year-old Lowry Lane man was charged about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 1, police said. Police pulled over a black Jeep that was driving eastbound on Lancaster Avenue with its headlights off; the driver's blood alcohol content registered 0.19, police said.
  • Public intoxication: An 18-year-old Villanova student from Colts Neck, NJ, was cited about 2:20 a.m. Nov. 2 for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and underage drinking after he was seen urinating on postal trucks at Lancaster and Bryn Mawr avenues, police said.
  • Public intoxication: A 54-year-old man from West Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr was cited about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 3 on Cricket Avenue in Ardmore.
