Police Blotter: Lansdale Man Charged with Bryn Mawr DUI

On Monday afternoon,  reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne:

DUI: A 57-year-old Lansdale man was pulled over at Lancaster and Warner avenues in Bryn Mawr about 12:55 a.m. July 5, police said. His white BMW had been going 45 mph in a 25 mph zone, and his blood-alcohol content tested at 0.09, police said.

Theft: A $4,000 engraved Rolex Submariner watch was stolen from a locker room July 17 and reported July 5, police said.

Public drunkenness, disorderly conduct: Two men lying in a Bryn Mawr alley with open vodka bottles were cited for public drunkenness about 9:30 p.m. July 3, police said. Police encountered a 45-year-old King of Prussia resident and a 56-year-old Bryn Mawr resident on the 1000 block of West Lancaster Avenue. The Bryn Mawr man also was cited for disorderly conduct for carrying a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Underage drinking, open container: Two 21-year-old men were cited for open-container violations about 2:15 a.m. July 7 on the first block of North Warner Avenue in Bryn Mawr, police said. A 19-year-old female companion was cited for underage drinking.

Public drunkenness, underage drinking, false identification: A 19-year-old Illinois man was arrested and cited about 2:05 a.m. July 8 outside a restaurant on the 1000 block of Lancaster Avenue, police said.
