Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct in Gladwyne; Public Drunkenness in Bryn Mawr

The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

On Monday afternoon,  reported to news media the following incidents from the past week:

Disorderly conduct: Three youths were observed in the area of the 1100 block of Gingko Lane in Gladwyne, near the , late in the afternoon of Dec. 15, sitting in smoke-filled van, when a nearby homeowner notified police. Officers found three underage males smoking marijuana, police said, including a local 17-year-old and another identified only as a juvenile. The third male ran away from the scene and was not identified by the others, police said. The two apprehended were cited for disorderly conduct. No drug charges were included in the incident report.

Public drunkenness: Sometime in the early morning hours of Dec. 16, a visibly intoxicated man wearing a Santa Claus hat was observed in the parking garage of the , on the 900 block of Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr, police said. Robert Squires, 45, of Hermosa Beach, Calif., was arrested across the street, near the , and charged with public drunkenness and criminal trespass.

Public drunkenness: On Dec. 17, at 3:44 a.m., a man was seen by police staggering on the 1200 block of W. Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont. Arrested and cited was Allan Fatzinger, 26, of Bethlehem, Pa., who police said was deemed a danger to himself. 

Underage drinking: Police charged Giorgio Parise, 20, of Mendham, N.J., with public drunkenness and underage drinking on Dec. 17, when police said he was seen staggering in the area of Lancaster Avenue and Morris Road in Bryn Mawr. Police also charged Parise with carrying a fake ID.
