Police: $50s, $100s Stolen from Bryn Mawr Car
LMPD on Monday reported the following incidents.
Lower Merion police on Monday reported the following incidents from the past week in the Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Patch coverage area:
- Theft from car: Someone stole $50 and $100 bills, totaling $800, from an unlocked vehicle in Bryn Mawr overnight Nov. 10-11, police said.
The owner parked in her driveway on the 700 block of John Barry Drive about 11:30 p.m., leaving the purse inside. She returned at 9 a.m. to find the money missing from her purse. - Public intoxication: Police took into custody a 21-year-old Villanova student about 2 a.m. Nov. 16 after he was seen stumbling into the street at County Line Road and Thomas Avenue in Rosemont, police said. The man's blood alcohol content registered 0.25.
