Firefighters fought a house fire Thursday morning in Gladwyne, near where Conshohocken State Road closed for downed branches and power lines, according to county and township authorities.
Part of Montgomery Avenue in Villanova also closed for a downed tree and power lines.
The fire call to Norsam Road and Conshohocken State Road came about 7:10 a.m., according to Montgomery County's dispatch service.
Gladwyne Fire Company responded, reporting on Twitter at 9 a.m. that the fire was cleared, with all residents and firefighters safe.
A large tree fell and brought down wires in front of 2017 W. Montgomery Ave., forcing the closure of all Montgomery Avenue lanes between Spring Mill and Matson Ford roads in Villanova, police announced about 7:35 a.m.
Then at 8:05 a.m., the department reported Conshohocken State Road was closed between Spring Mill and Waverly roads in Gladwyne because of downed branches and wires.
Both road closures were over by 12:15 p.m. Thursday, according to a township announcement.
