A large amount of electronics were stolen from a home on the unit block of Llanberris Road while the family was home and asleep, police said.
A neighbor was outside at 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 27, when she saw credit cards and blank checks in the bushes outside her home, police said.
The woman recognized the names on the credit cards as those belonging to the family next door. The woman returned the credit cards, and that’s when the family began to check the house.
The family told police that a number of electronics had been stolen including an iPad, laptops and iPhones.
The daughter of the family had returned home and secured the house the evening before at 11:30 p.m., at that time, police said that none of the electronics had been stolen.
The daughter came downstairs at 7 a.m. and noticed a window open, but didn’t think anything of it and closed it, police said.
Police believe that the burglar entered the house while the family was asleep and stole the electronics from the home.
