Gladwyne Police Calls: Fire, Attempted Burglary

Lower Merion police responded to 41 incidents in the Gladwyne neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 20, according to LMPD statistics.

A list of those incidents is attached to this article, sorted by type. Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

Incidents included:

• 11 alarm activations
• 2 animal incidents: 1 encounter with dogs and 1 with a fox
• 1 burglary attempt, reported about 11:20 a.m. Jan. 17 on the 1200 block of Club House Road
• 1 fire in a heater or chimney, about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 15 on the 1400 block of Waverly Road
• 4 road/sidewalk obstructions
• 7 traffic offenses
• 6 reports of suspicious circumstances
