DUI, Public Drunkenness in Bryn Mawr, Police Say

Lower Merion police reported the following incidents from last week.

The following Lower Merion police incidents in the Bryn Mawr-Rosemont area were reported to news media on Monday:

DUI: About 2:50 a.m. Saturday, a 42-year-old Philadelphia woman was pulled over at West Lancaster and Montrose avenues after running a red light and weaving over the double yellow line, township police said. She was charged with driving under the influence; a test of her blood alcohol content registered 0.17.

Public intoxication: About 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a 23-year-old Haverford man was cited and briefly taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for treatment after being found sitting against the outside of Kelly's, drifting in and out of consciousness, police said.
