Police say the student damaged a school wall.

Disorderly Conduct and Drug Possession

A Harriton High School student was cited for disorderly conduct and possession of a small amount of marijuana on March 13. According to police, school administrators brought the young man to their offices because they believed he was selling drugs. The student was screaming, throwing things and damaged a wall in the school; nobody was hurt. Marijuana and a bottle of pills were found in the student's possession, police say. He will also be cited with institutional vandalism.

On March 16, a woman reported that since Feb. 23 someone has been little-by-little removing lining from her 2009 Lexus near the area of Merion and Montgomery avenues in Bryn Mawr. According to a police report, the lining between the roof and driver’s side front door panel has been gradually tampered with over a few weeks until it was completely removed. Then, the victim said, the same thing started happening on the other side of the car.

A 50-year-old man from Glen Mills was charged with DUI on March 13 after a witness and police reported reckless driving. He was arrested in a driveway on Wyndon Avenue in Bryn Mawr with a 0.262 percent blood alcohol content, police say. According to a witness driving behind him, he almost hit two pedestrians at one point.
