Drunken Teen Found Unconscious in Bryn Mawr Yard, Police Say

The man was bleeding from his head and had vomit on his jacket, according to the Lower Merion police report.

A 19-year-old from Potomac, MD was cited for public intoxication, underage drinking and carrying false identification after a homeowner discovered him lying in her backyard in the middle of the night, police said.

The homeowner, located on the 900 block of Old Lancaster Rd. in Bryn Mawr, called police around 12:54 a.m. March 21 to report that an unknown man was lying on the ground in her backyard.

When police arrived, they found the 19-year-old man unconscious, bleeding from his head, with vomit on his jacket, according to the police report.

Police administered first aid while waiting for an ambulance. When the man came to, he appeared intoxicated and couldn’t recall where he was; police said that when asked what happened, the man kept telling police “Isn’t it obvious?”

While checking the man’s credentials, police found a fraudulent Ohio drivers license. As a result, the man will be charged with public intoxication, underage drinking and carrying false identification, according to the report.
